The Lacuna Bursary 2024

The Lacuna Bursary is an exciting opportunity for new voices in Irish writing. The bursary has been developed by The Tyrone Guthrie Centre to support an emerging writer from an underrepresented background in Irish literature to develop their writing practice. This is a unique opportunity to focus on developing or editing new writing at The Centre. The bursary is made in collaboration with the Irish Writers Centre (IWC). The award is a one-week fully resourced Writer-in-Residence Bursary will take place in 2024 by arrangement with us.
