Mapping your way

Use Google maps, Garmin, or whatever, to navigate your way to us, but do be careful not to go to the wrong entrance. Our Eircode is H18PP70. There is a white gate at our entrance, with The Tyrone Guthrie Centre, written on the front, and a post with a keypad to the right. If you do happen to find yourself at another entrance, don’t worry! Our neighbours are lovely, and if you knock and ask politely, you will be directed to the correct gate. Or you can call us on 047 54003.

Car Parking at The Tyrone Guthrie Centre

All residents will be allocated a gate code for our main gate prior to arrival.

  1. If staying in the Big House, drive slowly, and at the y junction about fifty meters inside the main gate, take the left road around to the front of the Big House. Drive across the front of the house, straight over to the other side, where the car park is tucked away behind hedging. Please observe speed limits.
  2. If staying in the self-catering cottages, drive slowly, and at the y junction about fifty meters inside the main gate, look right and you will see the parking signs. Turn right, and park against the hedge on your right.

Residents may take their cars into the studio courtyard to move and remove luggage etc., into the self-catering cottages, and to load and unload material into studios. However, please be extremely careful, especially of others moving in and out of the studios, and remove cars from the courtyard as soon as possible, and ensure to close the gate into the courtyard.

The entrance gate to the studio and cottage courtyard, along with the area outside as far as the parking bay, must be kept clear for reasons of fire safety. Please do not park in the area for any longer than is necessary to load or unload your car.
