The Board of the Tyrone Guthrie Centre intends to appoint an independent member to its Audit and Risk Committee. We'd like to hear from financial professionals willing to volunteer their skills in support of our highly valued service to artists.
Based at Annaghmakerrig near Newbliss in Co. Monaghan, the Tyrone Guthrie Centre is a workplace and retreat for artists of all kinds from Ireland and overseas. It is a registered charity funded for the most part by the two Arts Councils in Ireland and by income from residents. See www.tyroneguthrie.ie for information about the Centre's operation, governance, and finances.
The Audit and Risk Committee supports the Board's work of governance, risk control, and financial oversight. The committee meets six times a year, in Dublin as well as at Annaghmakerrig. Board and committee members receive no fees but are paid vouched expenses.
You are invited to send your expression of interest and your cv to info@tyroneguthrie.ie by Friday 2 August 2019. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed as soon as possible after that date.
